Did you know you should tune up your mower monthly to avoid costly repairs in the future? Well, Ace’s Home Expert, Lou Manfredini, is here to share his tips and tricks to protect your investment and have your lawn reaping the benefits!

Lawn Mower Maintenance Tips

  1. Keep Mower Blades Sharp: Maintaining your lawn mower is not only about keeping your lawn healthy but protecting your investment. Sharp mower blades give your lawn a nice clean cut. You can tear the grass and leave it vulnerable to disease and pests if you mow with dull blades.
  2. Gas Mower Oil Change: You can prolong the life of your lawn mower by changing out the motor oil annually. This keeps your motor healthy and clean.
  3. Clean Your Lawn Mower: Clean your mower after 3-4 uses. Scrap away grime and stuck on grass/dirt. Use a light oil on and around the wheels and gears to keep things running smoothly.
