These fun little island inspired sliders are a great tailgate treat or a fun appetizer for any party or event. The slaw adds a great crunch and the bbq sauce finishes it off nicely.
Island Style Sliders Recipe

Ingredients
Measure Ingredient
2 lb Beef, Chuck, Ground
1 ea Onion, Yellow, Medium
1 ea Pineapple, Fresh
¼ Cup Sauce, BBQ, Happy Ending
1 ea Pepper, Orange Holland
Taste Oink Rub, 5280 Culinary
12 ea Buns, Slider (Kings Hawaiian)
6 Slices Cheese, Gouda
1 Bag Slaw Mix, 4.5 oz bag
Taste Apple Vinaigrette
Taste Happy Ending BBQ Sauce, As Dipping Sauce
Cooking Directions
- Heat your Weber Q1200 to high
- In a large mixing bowl add the: Beef, Onion, Pineapple, Sweet Chili Sauce, Orange Pepper and Oink or Tiki Tiki Rub
- Mix well to combine all ingredients and flavors
- Divide the mixture into 12 balls and hand patty into slider sized burgers. Be sure to keep them thicker to cook more evenly
- Grill the burgers outside to the desired doneness, season with more Oink or Tiki Tiki seasoning as needed
- Mix the slaw mix and the sesame dressing and hold
- Toast the buns and hold
- Cut each slice of cheese into 4 slices, top each slider with 2 piece of cheese and allow to melt
- Place on top of the toasted buns, top each slider with 1 tbsp of the slaw mix
- Serve on a platter with Happy Ending Sauce on the side. Sauce is great either drizzled on each slider or as a dunking sauce.
