Who knew those fun exploding tubes of pizza dough and biscuits could be so versatile for dinner options?  We had a fun time working out our pizza skills with these products and hope you enjoy a night of cooking and movie watching.  

Ace It In Three: Family Pizza Night

Family Pizza Night Recipe 1Sheet Pan Pizza

Sheet Pizza

INGREDIENTS: - Makes 1 Sheet Pan Pizza

  • 1ea Tube – Pizza Dough
  • 1/2 Cup Pizza Sauce
  • 1 Cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • Pepperoni, Sliced
  • Open a tube of pizza dough
  • Coat a large cookie sheet with cooking spray
  • Layout the pizza dough and flatten slightly to help cook evenly
  • Sauce with the pizza sauce and add the mozzarella cheese
  • Top with the sliced pepperoni
  • Preheat your oven or grill to 450˚ - if using grill be sure to cook INDIRECT
  • Place the cookie sheet of pizza on the center rack
  • Bake for 15 minutes or until golden
    • For more golden crust, brush lightly with melted butter and dust with garlic and herbs
  • Using an oven mitt, remove the cookie sheet and pizza and allow to cool for 2 minutes
  • Cut into squares and enjoy

Family Pizza Night Recipe #2 Pizza Pockets

Pizza ocket

INGREDIENTS: - Makes 8 Pizza Pockets

  • Pepperoni, sliced into thin strips
  • 8 Tbsp Pizza Sauce
  • 8 Tbsp Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1ea Tube – Biscuits – Large – 8ct
  • Open a tube of biscuit dough
  • Flatten a Biscuit and stretch out to a small pancake size
  • Place 1 Tbsp of Sauce and cheese into the middle of the pocket
  • Top with a small pinch of the sliced pepperoni
  • Fold the pocket like a taco
  • Crimp the center of the taco fold
  • Next crimp all the edges
  • Place onto a cookie sheet pan (sprayed with cooking spray)
    • Space them out by 1” to allow room for expanding
  • Preheat your oven or grill to 450˚ - if using grill be sure to cook INDIRECT
  • Place the cookie sheet of pastry pockets on the center rack
  • Bake for 15 minutes or until golden
    • For more golden crust, brush lightly with melted butter and dust with garlic and herbs

Family Pizza Night Recipe #3 – Pizza Pinwheels

Pinwheels

INGREDIENTS: - Makes 12 Pizza Pinwheels

  • 1ea Tube – Pizza Dough
  • 1/2 Cup Pizza Sauce
  • 1 Cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • Pepperoni, Sliced
  • Oil, Olive
  • Open a tube of pizza dough and layout onto your cutting board – stretch to make it into a perfect rectangle
  • Coat a 12 cup muffin pan with cooking spray and place ½ tsp of olive oil in the bottom
  • Sauce the pizza dough with the pizza sauce and add the mozzarella cheese
  • Top with the sliced pepperoni
  • Roll the dough into a log and crimp the edges
  • Cut/divide the log into 12 equal portions and place each pinwheel into the muffin tin (no muffin papers needed)
  • Preheat your oven or grill to 450˚ - if using grill be sure to cook INDIRECT
  • Place the muffin tin of pizza pinwheels on the center rack
  • Bake for 15 minutes or until golden
    • For more golden crust, brush the edges lightly with melted butter and dust with garlic and herbs
  • Using an oven mitt, remove the muffin tin and pizza pinwheels, allow to cool for 2 minutes
  • Carefully remove the pinwheels using a fork
  • Serve with extra pizza sauce on the side, if desired
