Everybody loves a good combination. PB&J. Bacon and Eggs. A rainy day and a good book – you get the idea. Well, interior colors are a lot like that too – there are some combos that just work better together. I’d like to share four amazing color combinations that are sure to wake up the walls in your house!

Can't Miss Color Combinations

These color combinations are part of the Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines collection. What’s great about this color palette that it was specifically curated by Joanna Gaines.  Color combination within the palette work beautifully together. It’s an easy way to save yourself the struggles, stress, and confusion of making a color decision you are not happy with.

I know you can’t wait to hear them, so here they are!

  • Tranquility MAG102

  • Webster Avenue MAG129

  • Blanched MAG043

  • Heirloom Yellow MAG047

These are bold beautiful colors that look stunning together in a room, or for an accent wall.

Let’s start with a favorite subject and a favorite color of mine – Tranquility. It’s a dark, dusty aqua. Just looking at this color makes you want to take a deep breath and chill out. According to color psychology, Teal is the color of restfulness and mental and spiritual balance. It’s a perfect color and pairs great with the cool beige color, Blanched.

If you are looking for a bolder statement give Webster Avenue, a try! This is a deep and dusty berry color that brings out an element of elegance. It’s a great choice for an accent wall. It reminds me of ripe grapes just waiting to be picked.

The last color I want to share is Heirloom Yellow. This is a rustic, antique color with a little bit of green undertone mixed in to make it almost a muted mustard. It's an earthy tone that works well in nearly any space that needs just a hint of bold sophistication.

Is it time for an Annie tip already? You know it! Ceilings don’t need to be white. Adding color to a ceiling is unexpected and brings some personality into the space. Check out the Leftovers with Annie video where I painted the ceiling Heirloom Yellow!  Every time I walk through that hallway and see that yellow it makes me smile!
