How to Prep a Room for Painting
Before you touch a paint brush, it is important to protect your home and the things in it.
- Remove all wall decor and any window coverings.
- Remove any outlet covers and tape the screws to the back of them.
- Move your furniture to the center of the room. Cover it with a plastic drop cloth.
- Use a canvas drop cloth to protect your floors from common paint splatters.
