Main Course With Annie – How To Paint A Kitchen

Enjoy our tips on how to paint the kitchen and help on making the right color selection.

For these kitchen walls, I chose Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines in the color Blanched. If you’re struggling with color and not sure what to pick, head to your local Ace and grab some peel and stick color samples.

Before you start painting the kitchen walls, its best to wash them. Especially over the stove, it gets a lot of food splatter and grease. I’m using a degreaser, but if you have a lot of build up, you might want to look into a product called TSP.

This looks great. I’m going to give this kitchen two coats of paint. Now that the second coat is dry, its time to clean up and put this kitchen back together. That was the perfect beginning step to my kitchen remodel. That color and the natural light really brightens up my kitchen. Just wait until you see what I have coming next.
