Provisions

Pack a cooler with your family’s favorite foods and some emergency snacks. Don’t forget the coffee!

First Aid Kit

Confirm that you have any prescriptions and over the counter medicine that you might need. It’s also a good idea to have a first-aid kit handy.

Change of Clothes

You’ll want at least one change of clothes in case your belongings are delayed.

Toiletries

Bring essential personal care items like toilet paper, soap, shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrushes. This way, you’ll have easy access to these items during the first night in your new home.

Power Supply

Ensure that you have power cords for your cell phones and computers on hand as well as an alarm clock if you will need it the next day. It’s also good to have a few light bulbs and light fixtures handy if there are no overhead lights in your new space.
